Rostec Showcased the Falcon and Lightning 13 Drones in Belarus

Drones can be used for reconnaissance and monitoring, quick assessment of the situation, and search and rescue operations

Rostec State Corporation has shown the Falcon and Lightning 13, Russia’s new unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), at National Security. Belarus-2026. Both drones can be used for reconnaissance and monitoring, quick assessment of emergency situations, and search and rescue operations. 

The X-wing Falcon is a multi-role unmanned platform. Flight range is 180 km, payload weight is 5 kg and the cruise speed is 120 km/h. The drone can fly in autonomous mode on a pre-defined route and in semi-automatic mode with manual path correction. The drone can detect and identify various targets using electrooptical equipment. 

The Lightning 13 fixed-wing drone is a heavy-lift aircraft designed to carry payloads up to 13 kg. It is fitted with motors, picks up a speed up to 120 km/h and have a flight range up to 50 km. Besides monitoring, the drone can be used for prompt delivery of cargo and drugs. 

The National Security. Belarus-2026 exhibition is taking place on 17-19 June in Minsk. Rostec’s companies will showcase various drones, loitering munitions, drone detection and suppression systems, and small arms.
