Tecmash Concern is creating an industrial engineering digital platform. The platform based on the Russian software will cover the entire product creation process – from configuration of a future product to production launch. The project investment was equal to 865,000,000 Rubles, the work is to be completed in 2025.

Introduction of the industrial engineering digital platform will increase competitiveness and cost efficiency of manufacturers, and will speed up the product development and manufacturing processes.

The second project stage has been completed at this point. The platform architecture for Tecmash companies has been defined and shared data model has been created for the design and engineering process preparation platform. The platform will be used, among other things, to conduct virtual testing of future products and to prepare production launch. Moreover, licenses have been obtained for the domestic software package.

“Creation of domestic manufacturing engineering and planning solutions, including with help of digital twins, is a matter of national technological sovereignty. Owing to the industrial software, Rostec’s companies will speed up the development and launch of up-to-date products. The new system, that is currently being debugged, will be introduced at nine Tecmash’s factories. Then, this solution will be replicated to other Rostec’s companies,” said Bekhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of the Conventional Weapons, Ammunition and Special Chemicals Cluster of Rostec.
