Ametist-IK interference infrared filters are an independent development project implemented by Giricond Research Institute. The line of products launched by the company includes short-wave and long-wave pass filters as well as narrow bandpass and bandpass filters.

The filters retain their performance within 15 years of operation in the temperature range from —60°C to 70°C at 98% relative humidity. The products can be easily mounted on any lens and allow images to be made in a wavelength range from 2 to 20 µm.

«Specifications of our products are in line with the best foreign counterparts made by Spectrogon, Andover, Edmund Optics and NOС. Due to the advanced vacuum-deposition techniques used to produce multilayer thin-film coatings, the desired spectral characteristics have been achieved. We have delivered new IR filters to a gas detector manufacturer. We believe that it is optoelectronics manufacturers that will become the key customers of the Ametist filters,» said Aleksandra Kryazheva, Deputy General Director of Giricond Research Institute.
