The TM-140 all-terrain tracked vehicle made by High-Precision Systems participated in EMERCOM drills Safe Arctic — 2025. The vehicle successfully passed all tests and covered more than 2,300km of cross-country terrain at extreme temperatures down to -45 °C.

A total of 15 vehicles, including the TM-140, participated in the expedition. This is a fully Russian tracked snow- and swamp-going off-road vehicle made by Kurganmashzavod included in High-Precision Systems. The vehicle has a capacity of up to 4 tons and can move across water obstacles and slopes up to 35 degrees. Due to this, the TM-140 may be used to meet a wide range of tasks.

“Our route ran, in particular, through a coastal area of the Chukchi and East Siberian Seas. We crossed full-flowing rivers on ice — this was very dangerous. Our snow- and swamp-going vehicles passed all tests, easily moved across virgin snow, carried goods and towed stuck vehicles. In addition, we introduced rescue personnel to the features of vehicle operation and showed the vehicle capabilities. The TM-149 proved its performance even at extreme temperatures — below -45 °C,” said Aleksandr Leontiev, a test driver and member of the expedition.

The vehicle also did very well in other challenging conditions. The snow- and swamp-going vehicles were used to deliver goods to remote villages during floods in Kurgan and for remedial actions.
