Rostec State Corporation, Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and Bauman Moscow State Technical University have signed an agreement on engineering training. Its goal is to provide military-industrial facilities of the country with skilled professionals. In future, university graduates will be involved in joint Russian-Kyrgyz projects.
The parties have agreed to develop joint educational, research and development programs and projects. Rostec will provide advisory support to the university and assistance to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic in selecting candidates and preparing professional training requests. Moreover, Rostec personnel will be involved in the educational process, teaching and learning, and research activities.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic will prepare professional training requests, participate in developing educational programs and organizing student internships at manufacturing facilities. The university, on its part, will adapt programs to the labor market demands, provide hands-on training and get the Ministry’s and Rostec’s professionals involved in the learning process and knowledge evaluation.
Foreign students from friendly states can currently get engineering education in Russian universities using Rostec’s referrals and quotas. More than 100 people from Armenia, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, Uganda, Rwanda and other countries were selected in 2025.
