NtechLab, a technology partner of Rostec State Corporation, will cooperate with Saudi EGO online taxi booking platform. A corresponding memorandum was signed during the major technology and startup exhibition – Gitex Africa 2024 that was held in Saudi Arabia. 

Within the framework of cooperation, EGO is going to implement NtechLab’s facial recognition solution to improve the driver identity verification service in EGO’s application. A driver will have to send a one-second video for artificial intelligence to identify a person in the driving license.

High resolution recognition of faces and figures using AI-based video analytics is NtechLab’s flagship.

“We are happy to cooperate with Russian company NtechLab in the field of artificial intelligence. We would like to use NtechLab’d solution to improve the safety of our service in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Morocco,” said EGO representatives. 

“This technological area is new for us and enables us to use all our video analytics experience. It is hard to deceive artificial intelligence. AI algorithms are capable of distinguishing the real account owner from a scammer and even from a silicon face mask,” said Aleksey Palamarchuk, General Director of NtechLab.
