Last year, Microgen included in Rostec’s Nacimbio holding commercialized 30 drug products for allergy diagnosis and treatment. New drugs are designed to enable Russian doctors and patients to have high-quality complete diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases. 

Pollen and domestic allergens are used for diagnosis of allergic diseases and treatment using the ASIT (allergen specific immunotherapy) method. In the latter case, increasing doses of an offending allergen are gradually administered to the patient. ASIT method reduces the risks of allergic disease aggravation and development of asthma. The final goal of treatment is to reduce the immune system sensitivity to an allergen, lessen the allergy symptoms and increase the patient’s quality of life. 

The drugs are fully made from Russian raw materials and components at the facility in Stavropol. Extension of the range of products is, in particular, driven by the necessity to provide safety of drug supply to Russian citizens after the exit of foreign market players. The company provides sustainable supply of drugs for diagnosis of tree, grass and weed pollen, animal fur, cow’s milk, cereals, fish allergy, etc., to the Russian healthcare system.
