NtechLab, a technology partner of Rostec State Corporation, and Netvision, an intelligent video surveillance system developer, have introduced AI-based video analytics in the Penza Region. The solution is used within the Safe City hardware and software complex. AI algorithms will help increase the security level in the region.

Netvision has extended the Safe City hardware and software complex by integrating 1 600 cameras, video streams from which are sent to a unified information center. NtechLab’s algorithms provide a record-breaking accuracy and high facial, figure and action recognition rate. Thereby AI can detect suspects and help find missing people.

NtechLab’s neural network will be used in key streets, parks, schools, public transport stops and transport hubs. Owing to video streams delivered from all Safe City cameras to the unified information environment, efficiency of coordination between duty services and police, EMERCOM and other operational groups increases, and emergency response time is reduced.

“Our solutions are already used in more than 70 regions of Russia. Facial recognition in a stream takes less than a second and accuracy is more than 99%. Introduction of this solution helps prevent possible critical situations and increase security level in regions. Similar solutions are already used in the Novosibirsk and Samara Regions, Stavropol Krai and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug,” said Aleksey Palamarchuk, General Director of NtechLab.
