Azimuth production company included in Rostec State Corporation has provided Cheboksary International Airport named after A.G.Nikolaev with a domestically made approach system. The integrated instrument system has successfully passed the acceptance and flight tests to validate all manufacturer's performance ratings. 

The ILS 2700 instrument landing system is used to send runway distance and approach course deviation data to an aircraft. 

Airport personnel can operate remotely ground-based beacons directly from the control tower and conduct their health monitoring using a mobile computer workstation. The transmitting and control equipment have a 100% hot standby – redundant components replace the failed ones automatically without interrupting the system operation. The beacons are placed in a unified container that has life-support, fire and security alarm systems. The main specifications of the ILS 2700 meet the ICAO requirements and guidelines. 

Azimuth’s ILS 2700 instrument landing system has been already implemented at airports in Russia, Belarus, Armenia and Kazakhstan. The equipment is successfully operated at Anapa, Moscow, Orsk, Orenburg, Stavropol and other Russian airports.
