Weight and size parameters of R-444‑NM satellite communications terminal are 1.5 times lower than that of the existing similar devices due to the use of phased antenna array (PAA). All equipment fits in a bag and the package weight is max. 7.5 kg.

The equipment sets up connection to satellites in a geostationary orbit and makes it possible to establish a special-purpose and civilian cellular network away from communications infrastructure. Up to 255 users can connect to such network, person-to-person data rate is up to 64 kbps. Battery power supply ensures self-contained full-duplex operation during 4 hours.
