MO-140‑M water treatment plant is designed for desalination of sea water with high salt concentrations (up to 59 g / l) and oxidizable impurities, for example, oil products and suspended solids. The treatment method also removes bacteria, viruses, odor, taste, turbidity, minimizes the amount of iron and manganese. Scope of application — water supply to property accommodating up to 14 people simultaneously with consumption rate 250 l per capita per day.
The reverse osmosis water treatment method is considered one of the most effective. Pressurized water flows through a dedicated synthetic membrane that entraps up to 99% of mineral salts. Reverse osmosis does not require high power consumption or multi-stage water treatment as opposed to distillation and electrodialysis.
The project has been implemented within the National Project Environment.
Average capacity in treated water is ≥ 3300 l/day
Dry weight of the plant is ≤ 70 kg
Feedwater path overpressure at the plant inlet is 0.05 - 0.20 MPa
Operating ambient temperature is 5–40 °С
Specified water treatment life is ≥ 6000 m3
