International Economic Forum for Amber Industry AMBERFORUM 2018 Organizing Committee has announced the third open contest of amber artworks for different specialty artists, designers and jewelry production companies. The contest is being organized to promote the Kaliningrad amber brand.
The contest will be held starting March 12 till June 10, with artworks accepted since April 15 till May 14, 2018. Each contestant can hand in up to three works in three nominations: Jewelry, Decorative Carving, and Interior Decoration. A winner in each nomination will be presented with a coupon for 1 kilogram of ornamental amber.
Audience Choice Award will be given away as well. A winner in that nomination will be chosen by means of open voting on social media and at the Contest’s official Internet site. A winner will also receive a coupon for 1 kilogram of ornamental amber.
30 artworks were submitted at the contest in 2017. Some renowned amber designers and professional jewelers were among the winners.
Awards ceremony will take place at the Third International Economic Forum for Amber Industry AMBERFORUM 2018 on June 10, 2018. Visit www.amberforum.ru for more information about the contest.
