The first batch of the Su-34 frontline bombers has been delivered to the Russian Aerospace Force this year under the state defence procurement program. The aircraft have been made by Novosibirsk Aircraft Factory named after Chkalov, United Aircraft Corporation (included in Rostec State Corporation).

The Su-34 frontline bombers form an important part of the Russian frontline air striking power. The aircraft is capable of using advanced air-launched weapons, increasing the ground and surface attack range, and improving bombing accuracy.

“All UAC factories involved in the state defence procurement program are keeping the stable production rate. The first bath of the Su-34 frontline bombers has marked the start of aircraft supply under the current year production program. Novosibirsk factory steadily achieves the set targets. The factory team understands the importance of our products today,” said Yury Slyusar, General Director of UAC and Vice President of the Russian Union of Mechanical Engineers.
