High-Precision Systems included in Rostec State Corporation will display the TKB-1167 air target killing system for the first time abroad. The premiere will take place at El Alamein International Airshow 2026. The solution is designed to protect infrastructure facilities against UAVs and adds to the general multitier air defence architecture. 

The system is designed to kill low-altitude small-size air targets being a challenging problem for traditional surface-to-air systems. PKT machine guns with 7.62mm ammunition are used to engage the targets. The system detects and locks on drones on its own, and sends target designation commands to machine guns — the only thing to be done by the operator is to make a decision on killing the target. 

“It is crucially important that the system developed by our High-Precision Systems is already on combat duty and successfully engages real targets, demonstrating high rate of response to appearing air threats. The TKB-1167 is actually the last line of defence that comes in when every second counts. The system can be used either independently or as a single anti-drone architecture component, thus building a multitier air defence of objects,” said Bekhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of the Weapons Cluster of Rostec, member of the Board of the Russian Mechanical Engineers Union. 

The solution interacts with detection systems not only to receive information from them, but also to add its own data to the general picture of air environment.
