Rostec’s High-Precision Systems holding has delivered another batch of Pantsyr-S surface-to-air and anti-tank missile system vehicles and fixed-site Pantsyr-SMD surface-to-air missile systems. The systems underwent all necessary tests and were accepted by military acceptance representatives. 

The delivered Pantsyrs can use standard surface-to-air guided missiles, hypersonic surface-to-air guided missiles and short-range surface-to-air missiles for different types of enemy air targets. Depending on missions, ammunition in the launching ramps can be combined and include all types of missiles or as many as 48 surface-to-air missiles. 

“Systems from the Pantsyr family are on twenty-four-hour combat standby duty and prove their high performance on a day-to-day basis. Their crews destroy a wide range of air targets, forming a reliable protective dome over troops and civilian objects. Track record of the systems includes drones, ballistic and cruise missiles, and other airborne weapons,” said Rostec’s representatives. 

The Pantsyr-S mobile multichannel surface-to-air and anti-tank missile system has high fire power and is designed to protect small military, administrative and industrial facilities and areas against airplanes, helicopters, cruise missiles and high-precision weapons.

The advanced Pantsyr-SMD surface-to-air missile systems are, in turn, designed to protect various facilities against massed enemy attacks, including unmanned aerial vehicles. The systems prove their specifications in real conditions.
