In the first half of 2026, Rosoboronexport (included in Rostec State Corporation) concluded export contracts to deliver weapons and military equipment in the amount over 13 billion USD. This was announced by Aleksandr Mikheev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Mechanical Engineers Union, on the eve of El Alamein International Airshow 2026 taking place at El Alamein International Airport in Egypt on 8 - 10 September 2026.
“Rosoboronexport concluded export contracts in the amount over 13 billion USD during the first half of 2026. This amount is equal to the figure for the whole year 2025,” said Aleksandr Mikheev, adding that the greatest share of contracts concluded in the current year falls on air force products, air defense equipment comes second.
Moreover, Aleksandr Mikheev emphasized that execution of export contracts in no way affected the operation of the national military-industrial complex under the state defense procurement program.
“More than 90% of products contracted by Rosoboronexport in 2026 were involved in combat operations against modern foreign weapons and military equipment. Specifications, which were demonstrated in real conditions, to a great extent influenced the customer decisions to sign the contracts,” said Aleksandr Mikheev.
