Uralvagonzavod’s exposition also displays solutions in the field of EV charging infrastructure, environmental technology and an innovative Ural gondola car

Concern Uralvagonzavod (included in Rostec State Corporation) has shown an innovative Elly self-contained platform, EV charging infrastructure and environmental solutions, and a new innovative Ural gondola car at the 16th Innoprom-2026 International Industrial Exhibition in Yekaterinburg. 

Elly — a “Platform that adapts to your future” 

A prototype of the Elly self-contained mobile platform version with a robotic arm module is the key exhibit at UVZ’s stand. The product is first demonstrated to a wide audience.

The Elly is an advanced electric platform with fully automatic control and computer vision navigation. Having relatively small dimensions, 3000(3500)×1440×600 mm, it withstands a load up to three tons. Motor drive combined with the intelligent navigation system produces a balance of capacity and maneuverability to ensure high performance of the platform in confined space. 

The Elly is integrated into a single system with the Elly charging station. Due to this an unmanned vehicle charging process at a production site can be automated. 

“One platform — multiple capabilities” is the underlying principle of the project, to switch from cargo carriage to cleaning or crane operations, you just need to replace a module. An easy-to-replace superstructure for a specific application immediately adapts the platform — to switch from cargo carriage to cleaning or crane operations, you just need to replace a module. This dramatically reduces costs due to utilizing a single base and opens new horizons for manufacturing process optimization. 

The Elly charging stations form a reliable EV infrastructure

UVZ’s exposition at Innoprom includes the Elly 60kW charging station. Electromashina’s product line also includes a 150kW charging station designed to charge an electric vehicle up to 80% for 20 minutes.

An EV charging system can include one or more stations fitted with an intelligent system that provides video analytics, environmental monitoring and free Wi-Fi access. 

The Ural — a new gondola car for domestic railroads 

The innovative Ural 12-5991 is demonstrated at the exhibition. It is a next generation eight-axle freight gondola car designed to carry bulk non-corrosive materials on 1520 mm gauge main railway lines. Capacity of the car is 151 tons with the body volume of 176 m3, and the axle load is 25 tons per axle. 

The gondola car structure consists of two coupled sections with a semi-rigid drawbar that is first used in domestic car-building to provide reliable connection of sections. Reduced length of each car allows to increase the number of cars in a train without exceeding the established total length limits.
