Shvabe Holding affiliated to Rostec State Corporation demonstrated infant resuscitation and intensive care equipment at the 43rd
International Arab health exhibition and congress 2018. The event took place from January 29 through February 1 in Dubai.
The medical equipment manufactured at the Shvabe affiliateUrals Optics-cum-Mechanics Plant was presented within the framework of a combined Russian Export Center (REC) exposition under the national Made in Russia export brand. During the exhibition Shvabe’s stand was visited by representatives of more than 80 companies from various countries, international industry experts and other honored guests, including delegations from Switzerland, India and Pakistan. UAE’s representatives were particularly attracted by made in Russia resuscitation equipment, which is in high demand there now.
The Holding demonstrated high-tech neonatal anesthetic and resuscitation equipment and devices during the Arab Health 2018 events. Foreign partners singled out two Shvabe’s developments, namely: MAIA-01innovational multifunctional complex for inhalation anesthesia, which is the only apparatus among other similar Russian made devices combining the functions of artificial lung ventilation, narcosis and complex monitoring of the breathing gas feed, and a neonatal warming device named “Lambent Warmth – BONO”. Almost every Russian obstetric establishment is currently equipped with this device, including 15 new perinatal centers, as well as medical centers of CIS, West and East Africa countries and dozens of other regions in the world.
Arab Health is a leading annual medical and health care exhibition in the Middle East. Shvabe has been taking part in the event for five years in succession.
