Concern Radio-Electronic Technologies is planning to robotize the MedUza 008 HIFU therapy system This modernization will improve the equipment functionality and achieve pinpoint accuracy of detection and treatment.
The MedUza 008 HIFU therapy system is designed for tumor detection and treatment using high-intensity focused ultrasound. The system features mobility and may be used for comprehensive diagnostics, high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) therapy and online exposure control.
High-intensity focused ultrasound is used for so-called ‘knifeless’ surgery and effective fight against benign and small malignant tumors. Moreover, rehabilitation time is reduced considerably, repeated use is possible without major side effects and hospitalization is avoided. This kind of equipment has not been produced in Russia before.
