United Engine Corporation (UEC) has booked orders for the supply, service and overhaul of gas pumping and power units totaling more than 50 billion rubles for the next two years. Work on ground projects and their after-sales service is carried out within the framework of a "one-stop shop" for customers led by "UEC Engineering".

“Our ‘single window’ for customers to access all United Engine Corporation products and services in one place makes it possible to bring interaction with partners to a new level. Progressive work has allowed UEC Engineering to form a portfolio of orders for the next two years for the supply of industrial gas turbine engines, gas pumping and power units, maintenance and overhaul services totaling over 50 billion rubles”, said UEC Engineering CEO Sergey Mikhailov.

One of the company’s key customers is Gazprom, for which a UGPA-16/25 unified gas compressor unit is being created based on the AL-31ST engine manufactured by UEC-UMPO. The first two units will be ready this year. A highly efficient 25 MW AL-41ST25 gas turbine engine is also being developed.

According to contracts with Gazprom, it is envisaged to supply various gas compressor units primarily to the Nord Stream 2 and Power of Siberia gas pipelines. By the end of 2022, 32 units are scheduled for Bovanenkovskoye, Kovyktinskoye, Chayandinskoye and other fields.
