Rostec's Career Navigator to Help Schoolchildren Choose Profession

Rostec State Corporation's Ruselectronics holding presented an interactive career navigator, a software package designed to help schoolchildren determine their career path. The navigator was presented at the Digital Learning Environment exhibition which is taking place these days at VDNH. The event was organized by the Rostec State Corporation together with the educational holding Prosveshcheniye.

With the VR equipment, participants can take a virtual tour of enterprises - to see production sites, the real workflow and to assess the work conditions.

Videoconferencing provides a chance to instantly contact employees of the selected companies and ask them questions directly.

Specifically designed software forms an individual career path for each student from school to the company providing a list of higher educational establishments training specialists in the target occupation, a list of entrance exams and the data on the Universal State Exam cut-off scores over the last years.

The forum exhibition of school and vocational education technologies and solutions 'Digital Learning Environment' was held on February 7 - 8 in VDNH's Space pavilion.

The event is supported by Rostec State Corporation and the educational holding Prosveshcheniye in the interest of carrying out the national project 'Education'.
