Rostec has Presented Video Systems for Professional Divers and Underwater Drones for the First Time

Ruselectronics holding has shown an upgraded photo and video recording system for underwater vehicles for the first time at the International Maritime Defence Show 'FLEET-2024'. The equipment provides a high-resolution image at a depth to 6 000 meters with a camera angle up to 52 degrees. The first video systems are currently being tested.

The system developed by Television Scientific Research Institute includes IP cameras or AHD cameras, high-performance deep-water LED fixtures and indication and control unit. The equipment may be used for research, geological survey and also for rescue operations at depth.

The camera can produce an image with a resolution up to 2048х1536 pixels and an angle of 45 degrees or 52 degrees. Operation of the photo and video recording system on unmanned vehicles is adapted to the carrier velocity. The new system also implements luminous flux control depending on water transparency and pulse recording mode to improve image quality and reduce power consumption.

“Modernization of the photo and video monitoring system will help underwater vehicles fulfill the set tasks more efficiently and will increase the performance of rescue and diving operations. Currently, the prototypes have been provided for field testing,” said Aleksey Nikitin, the General Director of Television Scientific Research Institute.
