The Ruselectronics holding has created small-sized radio modems for civilian drones, robotic systems and aviation. They provide high-speed, noise-immune radio communication at a distance of up to 300 kilometers and can transmit video in up to 4K format in real time. The devices will be presented for the first time at the forum Army-2022.

Broadband radio modems allow to organize a reliable radio channel between mobile and stationary objects for control and information exchange. Due to this, operators can receive large amounts of data in real time, as well as high-resolution video from UAV surveillance equipment and robotic complexes.

«New radio modems can operate in the range from 50 MHz to 12 GHz and are characterized by increased noise immunity. Their weight does not exceed 400 g. Thanks to this, the devices can be used in drones and robotic devices with a high-speed data transmission channel, for example, for telemetry of oil and gas facilities, transmission of information from various sensors to control rooms, during topographic surveys or during search and rescue operations. The devices will be presented for the first time at the forum Army-2022,” said Oleg Yevtushenko, Executive Director of Rostec.

The equipment has the function of cognitive radio and uses the method of pseudo-random frequency hopping. This allows devices to select the optimal frequencies for operation and avoid interference.
