Shvabe holding has created an advanced thermal imaging system for vehicles – the Vzglyad system. The device mounted on a vehicle roof can recognize a human figure at a distance up to 300 m and vehicles at a distance of 0,5 km even in poor visibility conditions. The system functionality makes it suitable for terrain reconnaissance, perimeter security, security patrolling, and search and rescue applications.
The Vzglyad thermal imaging system makes a vehicle invisible offering night driving and area surveillance capabilities with headlights off.
An infrared image is visualized using a 640х512 resolution thermal camera. The system is mounted on a vehicle roof and is connected to a display unit in front of the driver. The data is displayed in real time and image definition in motion is provided by a high-resolution optical system of a thermally-stabilized lens with a microbolometer.
