Rostec Film about Aircraft Engine Designers Wins at US Festival

Rostec's short film "Choice", about the profession of aircraft engine designer, has triumphed at the US International Film & Video Festival. The film won gold in the “Corporate Film: Internal Communications” category.

The film features dialogue between an elderly engineer and his grandson who became interested in aircraft engine building through a computer game. Both professional actors and designers of Klimov United Engine Corporation starred in the film, speaking about the creation of aircraft engines, the intricacies of the work and the challenges they face.

“The film lifts the curtain on one of the most difficult and creative professions - aircraft engine design engineer. The film is for young people who are interested in modern technologies and are faced with the choice of who to be. I am sure that such projects increase the prestige of engineering specialties and attract talented young people to industrial enterprises. We are glad that the film turned out to be relevant for a foreign audience and was highly appreciated at such a prestigious international event," said Ekaterina Baranova, Communications Director of Rostec State Corporation.

The film "Choice", posted in January on the Rostec State Corporation YouTube channel, gained more than a quarter of a million views in less than two months.
