The Rosoboronexport company of Rostec State Corporation is preparing to celebrate its 20th anniversary on November 4th. The company was established by decree of the President of the Russian Federation as part of reform of the system of military-technical cooperation.

For two decades, Rosoboronexport has been one of the leaders of the international arms market. Since 2000, the main financial indicators of the company - order portfolio and volume of supplies - have grown fivefold. Over the years, Rosoboronexport has signed more than 26,000 contracts and delivered products to 122 countries totaling more than $180 billion", said Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostec State Corporation and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rosoboronexport.

Russia steadily retains second place among the world's exporters of arms and military equipment. Within five to seven years Rosoboronexport plans to bring approximately 50 world class Russian military products to global markets including armored vehicles based on the Armata platform, the fifth generation Su-57E aircraft, the ship-based Ka-52K helicopter, and the upgraded Mi-28NE. Products of other Russian companies also worth noting include the Antey-4000 air defense missile system of the Almaz-Antey Concern.

“Our international partners have received more than $85 billion worth of products for their air forces. Our exports for air defense and ground forces have both exceeded $30 billion, and for navies it has amounted to more than $28 billion", said Alexander Mikheev, General Director of Rosoboronexport.
