The Russian electric acoustic equipment producer, the Oktava factory with the Rostec State Corporation made its first appearance at NAMM Show, one of the world's largest expos of musical instruments and equipment. The event took place on January 22 to 27 in Anaheim, California.
The company presented its best developments in one of the biggest exhibition centers, Anaheim Convention Center, in order to increase brand recognition and expand their partner network.
NAMM Show is an annual event organized by the National Association of Music Merchants. Unlike many other specialized international events, NAMM Show is closed for regular visitors. The chance to get acquainted with the newest developments in the musical world is only available to the players on the music market and special guests. This year's event was attended by over 115 thousand people from 125 countries.
'Events like this help stimulate the development of the industry in general. A constant communication between producers and distributors as well as other market players is what secures productive work in the future.
Oktava's participation in specialized international expos facilitates increased brand recognition, the expansion of the client network and an increased number of new contracts and sales,' notes Oktava's Chief of Marketing Lyubov Stalnova. She also adds that currently up to 65% of Oktava's microphone sales are export.
Oktava's display comprised the whole range of microphones produced - condenser, tube, ribbon, dynamic and electret.
That includes MKL-111, MKL-5000, MK-012 and its modifications built on a modular basis - MK-105, MK-220, MK-319, MK-519, ML-52-02.
Potential customers had a chance to see both flagship models and new designs - MK-115, MK-117 and MKL-112.
In 2018, Oktava increased its international market presence and signed contracts with new international distributors thus securing its position as a leading professional studio equipment producer.
