Oktava Begins Supplying Microphones to the Philippines

Oktava, a leading manufacturer of professional studio microphones, has signed a distribution contract with the Filipino company SDR RF Radio Parts. The contract totals $500,000. The first delivery of microphones to the new market has already been made.

“Cooperation with SDR RF Radio Parts opens up new perspectives for our company. Oktava microphones are not only sold in music stores, but also work in radio studios whose programs can be listened to online from anywhere in the world”, said Lyubov Stalnova, Oktava Marketing and Sales Director.

Oktava is featured on Manila Broadcasting Company radio and is used in La Salle College, Manila's oldest university, where multimedia arts are taught. In the country it is already possible to purchase a narrow-membrane condenser microphone “Oktava MK-012” for instruments and a new vocal dynamic microphone MD-305. The company’s classic line of microphones will soon be represented by MK-105, MK-220, and MK-319 wide-diaphragm condenser microphones and other models.

The contract with SDR RF Radio Parts is one of seven major export contracts of the Russian manufacturer of electroacoustics with foreign distributors since the beginning of 2020. Earlier, cooperation agreements were signed with the British company Andertons Music Co, which is one of the top-30 music retailers in the world, and major music networks in Turkey and Serbia. The company also exports to Germany, Greece, China, the USA, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain and other countries.
