Technodinamika Develops Import Substitutes in Aircraft Engineering

The Technodinamika holding company is engaged in performing 63 tasks aimed at replacing imported components for the production of military goods: 43 of them have already been completed; eight will be finished this year, the rest – in the next year, as was told to Izvestia by Igor Nasenkov, General Director of the holding company.

According to Igor Nasenkov, the holding company has been successfully developing import substitution both in the military domain and in the non-defence sphere. The holding company was assigned 63 tasks to develop substitutes of foreign components for the production of military equipment items, 43 of which have already been completed; eight will be finished this year, the rest – in the next year.

Igor Nasenkov emphasised that Technodinamika affiliates were particularly successfully in fast mastering the production of hydraulic and fuel systems that had been previously manufactured by foreign companies.

The holding company also continues the development of import substitutes in the non-defence sector. "We consider it challenging to be involved in manufacturing SSJ-100 and MS-21 aircraft. Today, this sector has very few Russian components. For example, we have already won the tender for the development and commercial supply of fire safety systems for SSJ-100," said Igor Nasenkov.

Besides, Technodinamika has launched chassis components manufacturing jointly with Safran Landing Systems, and intends to work on the air conditioning systems.

"Import substitution is about getting rid of obsolete technologies. We work hard to offer our clients high-quality products capable of competing with the most advanced foreign technological solutions," noted the director of the holding company.
