Third "Ice Moscow. In the Family Circle" Festival to be Held in Moscow

During the upcoming New Year holidays the III New Year Festival by Alexander Kovtunets called "Ice Moscow. In the Family Circle" will be held on the Poklonnaya mountain with the support from the Rostec State Corporation – a festival that has already become traditional.  This year's theme will be "Football of Five Continents". The event will be held from 29 December to 8 January.

Each day a unique show will be delivered on the Poklonnaya mountain. The visitors will be able to watch the African drum show, Icelandic troll dances, French pantomime sketches, Brazilian carnival, English freestyle football show, Panamanian bartender cocktail show and more.

Ice sculpture artists will present their collective vision of the FIFA World Cup 2018 member countries, including miniature reproductions of their most popular places of interest. The festival guests will be able to admire the ice Eiffel Tower and the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Big Ben and the famous Christ the Redeemer statue.

Guests will be offered to have a picture of them against the sculptures of the world's fairy tales characters, or slide down the 20-120 meters high ice runs. There will also be a special work of art – a real house made of ice. All household furnishing, from chairs to hassock and mirror, will be made of ice.

As usual, Rostec is strongly devoted to sports, arts and festive events. In particular, the State Corporation supported this year's gymnastics show called "Legends of Sports. Ascension", the Tolstoy Weekend Theatre Festival, and regularly holds the "Rostec – World Corporate Games" and the international fireworks festival.
