UEC Supports Russian-Chinese Master's Programme

United Engine Corporation (UEC) supports the creation of the Russian-Chinese master's programme in the engine-building sphere. Training will be held in the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). Graduates will receive two master diplomas and will be able to work at UEC projects without any additional training.

The joint "Aerospace School" programme of MAI ans SJTU provides for training of masters in "Design of Structures of Composite Materials", "Life Cycle Management Technologies" and "Jet Engines Design". The main objectives of the project are formation of a talent pool for implementation of Russian-Chinese projects and development of a new environment for more productive implementation of joint programmes and activation of the Russian-Chinese cooperation.

Each training course will have a group of 20 students: 10 Russians and 10 Chinese. The first training year will be held in Shanghai, second – in Russia (MAI), the last six months – in Shanghai again. Graduates will receive two master diplomas, of MAI and SJTU. Thanks to the support from UEC, the first group of 10 Russian students already undergoes training in Shanghai.
