Tekhmash is going to take part in the Africa Aerospace and Defense 2016 (AAD) international fair of defense, aerospace industry and safety technologies, which will be held on September 14 through 18 in the RSA.
Africa Aerospace and Defense is one of the largest exhibitions in the world and the largest on the African continent fair for ground, sea and aerospace machinery.
According to Sergei Rusakov, CEO of the group, Tekhmash will present more than 40 exhibits at the fair this year. Two of them will be presented in the African region for the first time - these are the anti-tank rocket grenade RPG-30 with a single use launcher and the round TBG-7VL with thermobaric grenade TB-7L.
The latter exhibit completes the line of grenades for RPG-7 and is designed for the destruction of firing-points in open terrain, in trenches and under protective shelters of the field type, urban buildings and structures, as well as lightly-armored and unarmored vehicles.
The Tekhmash stand will also present the unified glide bomb container PBK-500U SPBE-K, which destroys armored vehicles and ground radars, the round EVBM-17 designed for shooting at upgraded tanks with combined protection, and other modern developments of the group.
