Rostec and WorldSkills Russia to create a talent pool for the industry


Rostec Corporation and WorldSkills Russia signed a cooperation agreement, which will mainly focus on training of specialists for the high-tech industries.

The agreement was signed in Kazan during the Third National Excellence Championship for  WorldSkills Russia  Professional Standards in 2015, WorldSkills being the official partner of Rostec.

The document provides for comprehensive cooperation in increasing the popularity and prestige of working professions, integration of production practices in the educational processes, introduction of uniform requirements for the training and participation in the development of professional standards for the types of activities that are in demand in the defense complex of the enterprises of the Corporation.

In addition, the parties agreed to cooperate in regards to organizing and carrying out activities aimed at the development of modern approaches to education and motivation of young professionals.

"Training of staff is one of our priorities. Rearmament of production capacity and automation of many technological processes increase the demands in regards to the level of competence of experts. Only the company that has all the necessary equipment can enable a young specialist to receive this experience,” said Deputy CEO of Rostec  Nikolay Volobuev . “This is the basis for our cooperation with WorldSkills Russia. I am confident that combining of our efforts will help us attract talented young people. "

The final of the National Cup of Excellence for WorldSkills Standards 2015 is held in Kazan from 19 to 23 May. The contest is attended by the best young masters from around the country competing among 50 professions
