Malawi hospitals received medical equipment from Shvabe Holding

Shvabe Holding has received a letter of gratitude from the Malawi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for completing delivery of the medical equipment.

“We want to express our sincere gratitude to Shvabe Holding for delivering this medical equipment to the people of Malawi,” wrote David Kandozhe, the Head Secretary of the Malawi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in the letter. “We hope that cooperation between our two countries will continue and grow stronger.”

Previously, neonatal incubators, feeds, tables, and ventilators produced by Shvabe Holding had been delivered to the central hospitals of the cities Kamuzu, Zomba, and Mzuzu in the east-African country. The latest generation of neonatal equipment was also installed in Malawi hospitals. Currently all equipment has been installed and put into operation.

Shvabe Holding decided to support the healthcare system of the friendly Republic of Malawi in this way in conjunction with Rostec Corporation acting on behalf of the Russian government.

The Republic of Malawi, a country located in eastern Africa, gained its independence from Great Britain in 1964. Bordered by Mozambique, Zambia, and Tanzania, Malawi has long maintained diplomatic relations with Russia.
