The holding Russian Helicopters, a part of the State Corporation Rostec attended and was the title sponsor of the VII International Exhibition of Helicopter Industry HeliRussia-2014 (Moscow Crocus Expo Centre, 22-24 May, 2014). The first day of the exhibition was declared the day of Helicopters of Russia.
The Holding demonstrated modern civil and military helicopters, and their development prospects, as well as projects for international cooperation.
Traditionally Russian Helicopters’ participation in the exhibition is rich and varied. On May 22, the company representatives took part in the VI International Conference Market of Helicopters: Realities and Prospects, dedicated to the growth of the helicopters market.
At the round table Air Ambulance and Medical Evacuation on May 23, the Holding representative spoke about the Russian medical helicopters. All of the major civilian models of Russian Helicopters can perform medical-evacuation and sanitary work, and the Mi-38 and Mi-26T can be used as a flying hospital.
The Holding held a master-class Aviation Medical Team Work during the Evacuation of Patient on the Ansat helicopter, with a medical module, in conjunction with the training centre for aviation medical teams of the All-Russian Centre of Emergency Medicine “Zaschita” (Defence) of the Russian Ministry of Health.
The Holding held a conference on Motivation and Stimulation of Inventive and Innovative Activity in at Russian Helicopters as well as the round table Search-and-Rescue Helicopters: Current Status and Prospects also took place. This latter is actively supported by the State.
This year at HeliRussia, Russian Helicopters signed a number of agreements on cooperation with its old and new partners.
Visitors of HeliRussia-2014 will saw new Russian helicopters Mi-171A2 and Mi-38, as well as light helicopters Ka-226T and Ansat, which there will enter the market in the near future.
The light multi-purpose helicopter Ansat is used for passengers and cargo transportation, medical evacuation and rescue, as well as for the protection of public order and other special works. The Ka-226T is perfect for dense urban zones and can be used by medical and emergency services, as well as by law enforcement agencies.
The Mi-171A2 design is based on the illustrious family of Mi-8/17 helicopters, using its most efficient solutions and technologies. The medium multi-purpose helicopter Mi-38 extends the model range of the Holding. It can be used as a multi-purpose transport helicopter, flying hospital and even fly in the far North.
The HeliRussia exhibition is annually held in Moscow and is the only exhibition in Russia, where Russian and foreign companies showcase their achievements: from design and manufacture to maintenance. The event is aimed at promoting international cooperation in helicopter building.
Russian Helicopters is the only developer and manufacturer of helicopters in Russia and also one of the few companies in the world, which has the capacity for design, manufacturing, testing and maintenance of civil and military helicopters.
