Rostec to present over 400 products at ARMY-2017

Rostec will present over 400 samples of military products at ARMY-2017, including the Armata tank, the Viking pistol, new sniper rifles and the Kornet-EM ATGM.

At the III International Military-Technical Forum Army-2017, State Corporation Rostec will have a private pavilion with stalls of the holding companies and directly controlled companies of the state corporation.

Holding companies of the weapons cluster - High Precision Systems (Vysokotochnye Kompleksy), Kalashnikov concern, UralVagonZavod, Splav, Techmash – and of the aviation cluster – Russian Helicopters, United Engine Corporation, Concern Radio-Electronic Technologies (KRET), Technodinamika – will take part in the Forum. Electronics developers United Ruselectronics, Shvabe, and the “Concern Avtomatika” will also present their developments. Military equipment will be traditionally exhibited as part of the outdoor exposition.

As part of Army-2017 Rostec will present a record number of samples of weapons and military equipment. In addition to traditional helicopters, small arms, anti-aircraft missile systems, electronics and ammunition, Rostec will present tanks for the first time at the forum, with a primary focus on the Armata tanks and T-90S. In addition, Iskander-E will also be presented. “We expect to hold a series of talks on military-technical cooperation as part of the forum," said Sergey Abramov, Industrial Director of Rostec Weapons cluster.

Operational-tactical missile systems are one of the key products manufactured by the High Precision Systems holding (part of the Weapons cluster of Rostec State Corporation). In accordance with the adopted strategy of the Weapons cluster, Rostec is planning to improve its operational-tactical missile systems in the next ten years. After 2020, the upgraded version of PTRC Iskander-M will be presented.
