Press release

JSC Rosoboronexport (part of the Rostec State Corporation) actively promotes army vehicle mobile maintenance systems in the global arms market.

“Several countries in various parts of the world have shown interest in the mobile systems offered by Rosoboronexport. Talks on supplies of such systems are currently in progress with a number of foreign countries. The company has successfully supplied the first batch of such systems to one of the Latin American countries in 2017. Efficiency and reliability of the maintenance & repair system have been verified in the course of its operation. The foreign customer also seems to be interested in the enhancement of the system’s capabilities to enable it to maintain equipment of other military branches”, - Deputy Director General of Rosoboronexport Igor Sevastyanov said.

The mobile maintenance systems feature state-of-the-art automated hardware and software systems.

The latter provide real-time equipment data, afield maintenance scheduling and automatic digital performance recording. The systems also ensure automatic requirement estimation, efficient resource allocation, maintenance scheduling (by types and periods) and estimation of the need for materials and spare parts based on the equipment service life and operational time.

“Hardware and software solutions implemented in the Russian mobile maintenance systems ensure to a large extent their uniqueness in the highly competitive ground vehicle maintenance market”, - Igor Sevastyanov added.

Experts believe that mobile maintenance systems could provide a good basis for the subsequent development of a comprehensive army vehicle maintenance system.
