Rosoboronexport, member of Rostec corporation, is going to unveil its new large-scale project ‘Antiterrorism and Law Enforcement’ at IDEAS-2016 to take place in Karachi, Pakistan, on 22-25 November.

Rosoboronexport’s specialists are going to present a scalable security platform designed to detect sources of terrorist threats and illegal activities, conduct antiterrorist operations, enforce law, provide security of key installations and protection of littoral areas. The presentation is to take place at the exhibition at 10.00 on 24 November.

“Implementation of such large-scale projects in cooperation with national companies will not only leverage capabilities to counter terrorism, crime, and illegal migration more effectively, but also boost the dynamically growing economic and military & technical cooperation of Russia  with other countries to a new level,” says Boris Simakin, head of Rosobornexport’s delegation at IDEAS-2016.

The backbone of the new project is the Safe City comprehensive automated system. The project includes soft- and hardware components. Its intelligent SW suite can provide the highest cyber security level to protect national information systems from unauthorized access and interference. Above that, the SW package incorporates a data analysis system for mass-media and various data banks monitoring suitable for data intelligence and analysis of multiple threat sources.

The HW component carries out current situation monitoring and its development forecasting. Capable of alerting and allocating mission to law enforcement forces the system provides the latter with the crucial edge. Russia’s offers include the complete gamut of special equipment, automated C2 and communications systems, weapons and police gear to equip law enforcement and antiterrorist units.

The project is based on real experience in developing and implementing antiterrorist and law enforcement systems at various levels that has been accumulated in Russia and abroad. Russia’s Ministry of Interior, Federal Protection Service and Rosatom’s security already use the system. The most remarkable examples of its performance are the Sochi-2014 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, as well as various international forums, summits, and political events held in 2015-2016. Some of the system’s components have been successfully deployed in combat missions during antiterrorist operations.
