Izhevsk State Technical University

The faculty was founded in 1993.

The dean of the faculty is Mikhail Andreyevich Senilov, Doctor of Engineering, professor.

As part of the innovative development program for 2011-2015 the faculty provides training, retraining and advanced training in the IT area for ‘Rostec’ employees.

The educational work is conducted in the following areas: information science and computer engineering, computer mathematics, system and application programming, computer systems and networks, operating and programming systems, databases and workbenches, system analysis and computer simulation, decision making and management, data processing systems and artificial intelligence.

- Department ‘Intellectual information technologies in economy’.

Izhevsk State Technical University is of great significance for a number of ‘Rostec’ enterprises, located in Udmurtia (‘Concern Izhmash’ OJSC, FSUE ‘Izhevsky mekhanichesky zavod’, ‘Sarapul Electric Generators’ JSC, ‘NITI Progress’ JSC). Izhevsk State Technical University trains skilled personnel and conducts promising researches together with Rostec.
