“Shvabe” to Present Russian Developed Intelligent City Technologies in Amsterdam

“Shvabe” Holding, a part of Rostec State Corporation, will present high-technology solutions for a megapolis “Intelligent Transportation System” at the Intertraffic Amsterdam 2018 Trade Fair. The program has been developed to improve safety and make road traffic control in a megacity more effective.

A quadrocopter equipped with SWIR-camera, a model of a city bus with passenger control system and a system for screening drivers of passenger and special transport are among the exhibits to be presented at the show. The exhibition will include a total of 20 items – all of those are assembled in Russia of locally produced components. The equipment is being successfully operated in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Ulan-Ude and other Russian cities.

“High-technology devices that will be presented at the Intertraffic Amsterdam 2018 Trade Fair have already demonstrated their efficiency in real-life operation. Due to the operation of those systems in Russian cities, the number of road accidents has reduced from 30 to 40 percent while the rate of street crime and vandalism has dropped down by 1.5 to 3 times”, - Rostec State Corporation Deputy General Director Ivan Ozhgihin commented.

A remotely piloted aircraft equipped with SWIR-camera is among “Shvabe” novelties to be presented at the Intertraffic Amsterdam 2018 Trade Fair. The complex is designed to monitor the city area and search for disguised dangerous objects, including items placed behind dark tinted glasses of vehicles. The brand new device is expected to be essential for safety insurance and anti-terror use. “Shvabe” will present the complex at the Intertraffic Amsterdam 2018 for the first time ever.
