Rosteс Approves Sale of Uralvagonzavod Asset to Technodinamika Holding

The Board of Rostec State Corporation has approved the sale of an Uralvagonzavod asset - Kamensk-Uralsky Foundry JSC (KULZ) - to one’s subsidiary holding Technodinamika. The decision of the State Corporation has been driven by an intention to create the largest in Russia manufacturer of take-off and landing gear for aircrafts and helicopters on the basis of the Technodinamika enterprises.

The new asset will strengthen Technodinamika’s competences in producing  take-off and landing systems, chassis racks and drive units for aviation. This will allow the holding to manage a fully integrated production, expand the range of products and enter new markets, including abroad.

Kamensk-Uralsky Foundry JSC specializes in manufacturing aircraft brake wheels for civil and military aviation and brake control units. The company manufactures wheels for the fifth-generation T-50 aircrafts, as well as for Yak-130, MiG-29K, MiG-29KUB, MiG-29SMT and others. The share of aviation products in the company’s revenue is about 70%, with the range of aviation products exceeding 150 items.

“As a result of the restructuring, Uralvagonzavod will have an opportunity to concentrate on specific areas of production in line one’s goals and objectives. In its turn, Technodinamika will significantly strengthen one’s position in the market of take-off and landing systems for civil and military aircrafts and helicopters. As part of the contract, KULZ will invest almost one billion rubles in the production base retooling and reconstruction program” said Oleg Evtushenko, Executive Director of Rostec State Corporation.
