Nikolay Volobuev Held a Meeting of the Russia-Singapore Business Council

On May 16, the General Meeting of the Russia-Singapore Business Council (RSBC) was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (RF CCI). The meeting was attended by 55 people representing 40 companies, including Rostec State Corporation.

Nikolay Volobuev, chairman of the RSBC and Deputy CEO of Rostec State Corporation, noted that currently the Business Council includes 44 companies and formed a pool of official partners in various industries - 42 state and private organizations from Russia and Singapore. At the same time, a representative in Singapore and a regional director in South-East Asia are appointed, and offices of the Business Council in the regions of Russia are operating.

One of the key projects of the Business Council was the creation and development of the Center for Foreign Promotion of high technology companies in Singapore. The Center has already concluded official agreements with such companies as Shvabe, Russian Helicopters, RT-Chemcomposite, Technodinamika, KRET, Omsk Research Institute of Instrument, Kalibr JSC.

We recall that the Center for Foreign Promotion is organized on the basis of a Singapore-registered company that became a member of the International Chamber of Commerce of Singapore. The organization envisages the creation of an exposition in the format of a show-room and an engineering center on the territory of a unique technopark with the purpose of promoting and localizing Russian products in Southeast Asia.

On the basis of the Center for Foreign Promotion in Singapore, an exhibition of Russian high technologies will also be opened. Its launch is scheduled for November 2018, when Vladimir Putin will participate in East Asia Summit in Singapore.
