In Czech Republic Shvabe Receives Four Medals for the Bonnie Incubator

Shvabe Holding, an affiliate of Rostec State Corporation, was awarded medals and a special prize at Invent Arena, an international exhibition of engineering innovations, patents and inventions held in the Czech Republic.

This year, about 400 inventors and innovators from 22 countries presented 135 inventions and patents at Invent Arena. The exhibition organizers have bestowed a diploma and a gold medal to the Bonnie portable incubator. The innovative project has also received a diploma and a silver medal from the National Association of Inventors (Macedonia), a gold medal of the WIPO international association, a gold medal bearing Nikola Tesla’s portrait from the Belgrade Association of Inventors (Serbia), as well as a special prize from the Inventor Agency for Promotion Ltd (Poland).

Bonnie is the first prototype of portable incubator made in Russia. Such a device can be used not only in stationary conditions, but also for long-distance transportation.

As compared with analogues Bonnie has a number of advantages – small size and weight, transparent cover, comfortable internal structure, as well as the option of additional medical equipment connection and baby examination. The solution meets Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) international safety standards for newborn transportation.
