KAMAZ won the "Exporter of the Year - 2016" competition. The company has already won the first place in the nomination "The Best Russian Exporter of the Industry - Automotive Industry" for the fourteenth time.
The solemn ceremony of awarding the "Exporter of the Year - 2016" prize was held in Moscow as part of the V International Export Forum "Made in Russia". The "Exporter of the Year" competition is held on the initiative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia in conjunction with the Russian Export Center. Traditionally, exporting companies, the subjects of Russia, as well as credit organizations take part in it.
We recall that since 1999, KAMAZ has won the first place in the competition in the nomination "The Best Russian Exporter of the Industry - Automotive Industry" for thirteen consecutive years. After a five-year break in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, it was decided to revive this competition. And this year KAMAZ once again confirmed the status of the best non-primary exporter in Russia, taking first place in the "Exporter of the Year - 2016".
The sale of KAMAZ vehicles abroad is carried out by KAMAZ Foreign Trade Company JSC. The company exports vehicles and component parts assemblies to more than 40 countries of the CIS, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America.
KAMAZ has the assembly plants in Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Azerbaijan, India, it is planned to restart assembly of KAMAZ vehicles in Iran and Vietnam. In 2016, KAMAZ exported 6.2 thousand vehicles.
