KAMAZ-Master Celebrates Victory

 

Sportsmen of the KAMAZ-Master team won all three medals of the Silk Way Rally Marathon that has ended in Xi'an, China, on 22 July. The crew of Dmitry Sotnikov took the first place in the overall ranking of the Trucks category, second place was taken by the crew of Anton Shibalov, and the bronze medal was won by Airat Mardeev.

The Silk Way Rally was held in the form of a transcontinental marathon through Russia, Kazakhstan and China. A colossal sport journey was divided into 24 stages, total length of the route was about 10,000 km.

The KAMAZ-Master team won all three medals of the Silk Way. As the racers note, the fact that this year all the strongest rivals in the Trucks category have finished the race in full strength adds weight to this victory. 90 sport crews from 35 countries participated in the competition. The Trucks category where the KAMAZ race team competes included 21 vehicles.
