Rostec establishes an integrated life cycle management system for products manufactured by aviation cluster in Peru

Rostec strengthens the quality control of helicopters and related components, places a system of prompt response to the operation of fixed-wing aircraft. Russian Helicopters Holding Company appoints its official representative in Peru.

Rostec State Corporation and its Russian Helicopters Holding Company are building up their order book on FW aircraft and related components under the framework of their cooperation with the Republic of Peru. It has been decided to appoint the company's official representative as part of the representative office of Rostec State Corporation in order to coordinate the business of Russian Helicopters the country that is Russia's largest operator of helicopter equipment in Latin America.

The representative's brief will be to prevent any potential use of Russian-made helicopters incorporating counterfeit assemblies and components and to uncover any authorized supply chains of counterfeit aircraft equipment within the country.

"Rostec is effectively stepping on the track of creating an integrated life cycle management system for products manufactured by aviation cluster in Peru. The appointment of the official representative is a stepping stone towards the set-up of such system and a what-it-takes tool of improving the operational performance of the cluster to the world-class standards and building up exports, including the export of components. We believe that such measures included into the strategy of developing the aviation cluster will enable us to increase revenue from after-sales service by as much as 2.5 times", said Anatoly Serdyukov, operations manager of the aviation cluster at Rostec State Corporation

In addition to assisting the representative office of Rostec State Corporation on all urgent matters, the official representative of Russian Helicopters will also be charged with maintaining direct contacts with heads of law enforcement agencies and aviation authorities in Peru and promptly responding to any queries relating to the operation of Russian-made helicopters.

The representative of Russian Helicopters is the fifth corporate officer delegated by the Peru-based Office of Rostec State working in alongside with representatives of State Corporation itself and Rosoboronexport. Russian Helicopters is licensed to promote, sell and deliver civil aircraft equipment and run an after-sale service support program on its own authority. However Rosoboronexport remains the only official supplier of military and dual-use products from the Russian Federation.

In the general scheme of things, the aviation cluster is organized to maintain and expand the footprint in the global helicopter industry by rolling out Ansat, Ka-226Т, Ka-62, Mi-38 and other aircraft to the global market and design brand-new helicopter models and variants and upgrade the existing ones. The key target of the aviation cluster is to ensure the growth of revenue from the holding companies and the cluster-wide entities at an average annual rate of 11.9% in the period between 2015 and 2025.
