ZF Friedrichshafen AG

ZF KAMA is a joint venture of KAMAZ and ZF Friedrichshafen AG (Germany)



ZF KAMA joint venture was established in the beginning of 2005 and is the first manufacturing on KAMAZ producing capacities producing the goods under foreign company brand. Zahnrad Fabrik Friedrichshafen AG is among the leading world automotive consolidating groups.

The JV produces driven equipment (manual and automatic, including infinitely variable, transmissions) for KAMAZ trucks. ZF KAMA assembly line has a capacity of 30 thousand cars per year.

ZF transmissions considerably save fuel. High production quality is provided by ZF KAMA quality management.

The JV has over 10 large suppliers in Germany, Austria, Hungary, France, India, its turnaround amounts to 60 million euro per year.

Zahnrad Fabrik  pays great attention to production service support. The service centres are expected to emerge through all the Russia, there are also planned a secondary market spares warehouse diversified from the new parts warehouses.   Transmission assembly firing line in Naberezhnye Chelny replicates the one in Friedrichshafen 

For account of preassembly and assembly, bench testing unit, defect identification and debugging area, located in Naberezhnye Chelny,  ZF KAMA expects to satisfy all the Zahnrad Fabrik transmission KAMAZ requirements.  In 2012 the JV started supplying goods to MAN (St. Petersburg) and Ural Automotive plants.
