LADA Vesta cars are among the most popular cars on the Russian market. In September this year AVTOVAZ launched commercial output of two new Vesta models – Vesta SW and Vesta SW Cross. Off-road wagon LADA Vesta SW Cross has already been called the most beautiful and long-awaited new Russian car by many car owners.
The concept of the off-road wagon and its photographs were presented by AVTOVAZ as early as in August 2015 at the Moscow Off-road Show and created a sensation. In summer 2017 AVTOVAZ demonstrated a commercial version of the off-road wagon. The first car rolled off the manufacturing line on 11 September, and the sales were launched in late October this year.
Even the basic configuration of this car has a wide range of comfort control and safety systems: air conditioner, electronic stability control, traction control system, hill-start assist system, parktronic and steering wheel-controlled audio system, USB and Bluetooth. Additional comfort is ensured by three-stage heating of all seats, a central armrest with a storage box, additional 12 V outlets and 25 mm higher interior.
Large-diameter wheels and innovative suspension adjustment allowed to increase the road clearance to 203 mm – a feature that is more common for the classic crossover segment.
The basic version of LADA Vesta SW Cross equipped with a 1.6-litre engine, 106 h.p., and a five-speed manual transmission will cost at least 755,900 rubles. The most expensive configuration is estimated to cost 847,900 rubles. This configuration is distinguished by a more powerful engine (1.8 l and 122 h.p.) and a five-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). This transmission combines the functions of the manual and the automatic transmission. It has been developed for Russian weather conditions, so its performance does not depend on the ambient temperature.
